America Revolts By Chris Morris There seems to be a small undercurrent of a revolt brewing in America. Thousands of angry citizens are turning out to voice their displeasure at the government and the amount of spending that they are planning. Citizens from Seattle and Denver staged rallies to protest the spending bill early this week. Yesterday's proposal by President Obama to bail out homeowner's that can't afford the homes they purchase was more fuel for the fire. Yesterday CNBC news correspondent Rick Santelli even suggested, on air, a "Chicago Tea Party". The changes are coming fast from the Obama administration but many in America are uncertain if the spending is what will ultimately drag us out of this massive recession. Many people are starting to realize that the spending most likely is not stimulative and is much more likely going to hurt future generations. The national outcry seems to be gaining some momentum. Plans are for more protests to occur in Overland Park, Kan., Nashville and New York.
